• A series of three case-based sessions (three hours each) and an exam preparation session
• Sessions incorporate the CNA neonatal nursing competencies
• Prepares you to write the CNA Neonatal Nursing Specialty Certification Exam
• Identifies knowledge gaps and areas for further study
These online sessions are open to anyone interested in neonatal education (do not need to be writing the exam).
This will be a case-based learning opportunity incorporating the Canadian Neonatal Nursing Competencies to help support nurses preparing to write the Canadian Neonatal Nursing Specialty Certification Exam. Upon completion, the learner will be able to identify gaps in knowledge and areas for further study.
Open to anyone interested in the opportunity to integrate current neonatal knowledge in an interactive and engaging format but does not replace exam preparation. Participants planning to write the exam are expected to have previously studied all exam components (Exam Blueprint and Specialty Competencies).
NOTE: Participation in the sessions does not replace exam preparation, nor does it guarantee exam success.
